Hair Cuttery

This place would have received a 5 star review if it were just left at the first hair cut we received. We came in on Saturday, March 7th to get a total of 4 haircuts. The staff was very accommodating and got us all in and out relatively quick, considering we did not have an appointment. My youngest daughter went first and the stylist was amazing at listening to what we wanted and executed it perfectly. My friend’s daughter went 2nd and that went ok. The stylist seemed a little irritated but that may be because my friends daughter was a little upset about the cape being too tight. Anyway, move on to the 3rd stylist who was in charge of cutting my oldest daughter’s hair. I am completely upset with the way it turned out. My daughter wanted her hair cut just under her chin and I asked the stylist to please leave it a little longer because, when it dries, it bounces up in waves. We absolutely did not want it to be above her chin. She assured me that she would keep it long enough. Another stylist was then ready to trim my hair so I stepped away. That was the worst decision to make at that time. When I was done, my daughter was still sitting in the chair and the stylist was still cutting away at her hair. Not only is it much shorter than we wanted it to be, it is completely uneven. I wanted to say something at the time we were there but I didn’t because I did not want to upset my daughter. However, after her hair dried and my daughter saw how short it really was, she was completely upset. So, we now have to straighten her hair every morning before school so that it isn’t too short. This also comes with issues because you can clearly see how uneven all of her hair is after you straighten it. After a few days of thinking this over, I felt it necessary to voice my concern. I wish there was a way to post pictures so that you can see why I am so upset.

This place has the most talented stylists in all of Plantation.

I have been a weekly regular at this location since the summer of 2019 and I’ve had color, highlights, cuts, and blowdrys. My favorite stylists are Tabatha and Jessica as I trust them with my eyes closed. I’ve also had Mackay work on my hair and he is awesome as well.

In the past I have just bounced around on a weekly basis to several other salons but once I came here, I haven’t gone anywhere else since!

Kudos to James, Chuck, Jessica and the stylists at Hair Cuttery. The services provided are professional and top-notch, especially color and highlights. The staff go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied and they take pride in their work. Even though the stylists see a large number of walk-in clients, using the app makes scheduling a same day or future appointment with a specific stylist easy and it includes all the services with prices listed. I’ve been going here for over six years and have no need to go elsewhere.
