Bulldog Adjusters

If I could give them zero stars I would. I had lightening start a fire in my home which was almost a total loss. First of all my insurance company wouldn’t negotiate with Steve Lippey. He basically walked in the meeting and walked out and referred me to an attorney. Steve Lippey also referred me to a general contractor that specializes in fire damage in Winter Park, Fl. Hiring that contractor was the worst mistake of my life. I ended up firing the general contractor for shoddy, unsafe work and taking on the responsibility myself. This general contractor was so bad I called Lake County Building Inspectors to the house and they shut down the job site. Paying Bulldog Adjusters was the biggest waste of my insurance money.

I just received my settlement check from Bulldog Adjusters. I am very glad I used them because my claim was denied at first by Saint Johns Insurance Co. I decided to call Bulldogs and see if they could help. They sure did. I ended up getting a significant amount of money because of a phone call.
If you have an insurance claim DON’T call your insurance co. You may say the wrong thing. Call the Bulldogs and sick them on your insurance co. Instead. They will take care of everything. Without them is like going to court without an attorney.
Your insurance co. Is NOT your friend…..trust me.

Bulldog is a great way to describe this company! They will go to bat against the Insurance Companies and get the claim resolved with the best result possible. I don’t hesitate to refer friends, family and clients to Bryan and the rest of the crew. Thanks, guys!

Horrible experience. Sounded great in the beginning (great salesman) but quickly got worse and worse. No communication, unprepared for mediation, turnover at the company that I couldn’t get a dedicated resource on my case. They recommended an outside lawyer when they realized their screw up during the mediation and the fact that the insurance company didn’t want to deal with their negligence. Fortunately the attorney was phenomenal. I had to throw out everything that was put together by bulldog and had to do almost all the work myself by calling contractors, plumbers, floor and roofing companies in order to get quotes to use for my case because everything bulldog had “provided” was either wrong or grossly miscalculated (both to my benefit and detriment).

After two years I finally reached a settlement, mind you that Bulldog has done nothing to earn their percentage except for pointing me to my lawyer. I can’t imagine how a “finders fee” works out to 10% of my total settlement.

On top of all that, when I finally got my settlement check after TWO YEARS, they wouldn’t sign off on the insurance check without pressuring me into signing an authorization form stating they were allowed to talk to my mortgage company (they wouldn’t sign the check without this authorization form). Apparently my mortgage company won’t talk to them and now bulldog is threatening to take me to collections, even though I haven’t gotten my full settlement yet!

Review should be zero stars. Can’t wait for the response that will shortly come after this with something to the effect of “we’re so sorry you feel this way and please call to discuss”….call who!?!? The only time someone is available is when they think they’re going to collect their 10% that they DID NOT deserve nor earned.

Do yourself a favor and get legal representation instead since you’re going to be doing the bulk of the work anyway.

UPDATE: received certified mail that they are now threatening to take me to collections!!! I still haven’t even gotten paid out. Clown company….
