An account was opened with the help of a trusted professional representative of a reputable financial institution. The TOD (transfer on death) account was set up and we were confident that our stated results would be achieved; however, when the time came for these goals to be implemented, the original intent for this account was not honored. The reasons for not honoring this agreement were vague and never clearly explained.
