Jacaranda Village Apartments

I do not recommend this place to anyone. I am counting down the weeks to move out of here. The neighbors are very rude. They slam doors, they bang walls, they fight outside, and they walk their dog without a leash. I’ve had several maintenance problems. I had an A/C leak, a broken refrigerator, cabinets falling apart, and more. I have a one year old and this makes things complicated and unsafe. The lights outside are always broken so it’s hard to see when you’re walking up the stairs. Also, management doesn’t care about anything you tell them. They don’t answer emails or messages, they don’t care about the tenants not one bit. They don’t address questions or concerns. The apartments look OK, until you actually live here and see things falling apart.

The apartments they lease have serious maintenance issues. I’ve been living here ten months and I’ve had the water shut off twice without notice, an A/C leak that lasted about a week, a broken refrigerator that took about a week to be replaced, and re-piping of the whole apartment, which forced my family and I to leave for five days; the walls were cut open and left that way for days. Management staff is horrible. They respond to google reviews, but they never return a phone call or attempt to make things right. The maintenance staff responds relatively quickly to simple issues, but if it is something more complex, be ready to wait for weeks. There is never any parking, there are loud neighbors who play music until crazy hours of the night on weekdays, and there was a crime scene recently in one of the buildings. My advice is just don’t do it and go elsewhere.

Best place to live ….

Complex is clean and well maintained. Neighbors are quiet and apartments are big enough for what Im alooking for. They have daily valet trash pickup. The Lawn is mowed on a weekley basis. Pool area, gym, tennis court are well kept. Noticed they had the front entrance redone couple of weeks ago, this makes you, as a resident, proud of where you live. Maintenance department is diligent. Their office staff is very courteous and friendly, as a matter of fact we just had our holiday pool party last Monday December 18th and we had a blast; my wife even won a prize! Happy to live here 🙂

PS: I would highly suggest to change some of the lights on the street inside the community that are burnt out to white ones if possible! It is not safe for our residents that walk at night at all. Also the car wash station is of no use at all in the real world, perhaps it could be upgraded to something more useful where the house is not broken and it last longer when putting money into it, with a potent stream of water.
