Dr. Shauntell J. Solomon, DO

Two words…Cold hearted.

I went to Dr. Solomon for the first time and was very pleased. She was very polite and knowledgeable. She addressed all my needs and concerns and made me feel comfortable. I was also in and out in no time with minimal waiting. I highly recommend her and Dermatology of Coastal Sarasota!

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I made an appointment for my daughter and myself. Had to wait 1 month and drove for 45 minutes to have our exam with Dr. Shauntell Solomon. It turned out to be a huge waste of time. Without going into all the details, she is simply arrogant, cold, condescending, and rude. After the Dr. left the room my 13 year old daughter said that this was the first time she had ever felt uncomfortable with a Dr. We will NEVER be back!

Contrary to the previous post, I was very satisfied with Dr. Solomon. I visited the Plantation office for MOHs surgery on the recommendation of my dermatologist. I met with her for a consultation prior to surgery and she fully explained the procedure, the timeline, and my options, especially as they related to my particular insurance. After surgery i was given a full explanation as to wound care and Dr. S called me that evening to see how I was doing, even gave me her cell number in case of an emergency. The following week I returned for a skin graft. My only complaint here is the wait time in the exam room. However, having had MOHs, I realize the doctor has no control over how many times they must return to a patient to get another sample and determine they have removed all cancer cells. (So if you go, don’t plan another appointment to follow.) The front desk staff were kind and professional and the exam room staff were super attentive during and following the procedure.

i would NOT book an appointment with this doctor! i made an appointment for my boyfriend to see dr. solomon at her group’s office in aventura, for friday, march 11th, 2016, at 10:50am …. i don’t know if dr. solomon didn’t show up for work that day or if she was out for an early lunch, but this inconsiderate excuse for a human being was nowhere to be found! no apology, no nothing. just didn’t honor the appointment! no phone call to say she was sorry. no e-mail to explain her absence! STEER CLEAR OF DR. SOLOMON!!
