We had a representative come to our home a week ago to assess and provide an estimate. I was told I would receive within 2 days at the latest. I called the office to request the estimate and still nothing, no follow up call regarding the delay of the quote. If this is how ‘would be’ customers are handled, and if takes this long simply to receive an estimate, I can only imagine how actual customers and jobs are handled.

Had a leak on my porch. Aegis came out and fixed the issue quickly. Highly recommend them for your roofing needs.

We were first referred to Fabion, the owner of Aegis Roofing, by a friend who works with his mother.

Fabion came to our home, last year June, after a non-hurricane related week of torrential rain which caused a major leak of our flat deck roof, further leading to damage of our interior walls.

Fabion quickly had a tarp put on to contain the damage and unlike any other company we have encountered, he actually put it up early the following morning and did not seek payment until one week later. We were wowed!

After contacting Fabion to give him the go ahead for the replacement of the roof, he filed the necessary paperwork for our permit.. With permit in hand, we hit a snag with Fabion. We were told that the guys could not come out to begin the job due to a rainy forecast. However, those days just happened to be sunny in our neighborhood in which absolutely no rain fell. We felt as if he said that due to having overextended himself and his resources on other jobs. It was frustrating at the time because that was only the first leg of the insurance process. Fabion did explain that they do not work on the roof if there is more than 20% chance of rain. I guess he just has to go by a set policy, frustrating though that was for us.

Once he did get started, the job was completed post haste. We opted to do the TORCH roofing system which is rather scary to read about, so don’t read about it. 🙂

The city inspector came out and found one deficiency which was quickly rectified.

Subsequent to that job, we have turned to Fabion for additional roof or fascia board repairs. We have not been disappointed.
