Took my dog in for an appointment recently. I wish I could give 5 stars. Unfortunately I cannot. When I initially booked the appointment -with basically a salesperson pulling in a deal – it was with the impression my dog would only be there for a couple hours as: Due to Covid need to drop the dog off. And the Dr would come out to speak with me. But when I got there- the front desk had different girls there. And it has a hostile feel. They seem to despise the customer. But I needed my dog seen so I went ahead and left him there. The girl Monica was not very supportive or reassuring. Unfortunately that’s who I primarily had to deal with. None of them we’re welcoming. Monica although appears to be knowledgeable- but was very rude. My poor dog had to be in that hostile environment for 6 hours. And it would have been longer had I not insisted on picking him up. It was very nerve wracking not really knowing what was happening and not getting the feedback in the form of communication. I never did see the actual Vet. Maybe he wasn’t even actually there. He couldn’t even take time to come out and speak with me. Very disappointed in the way I was treated. Who knows what type of treatment my poor little 10 lb dog received. When I did get to speak to the Dr after 3 pm he spoke to me with intelligence and competency. He sounded confident and like he wanted to do the right thing. But when I arrived no Dr came out. He just called himself Dr Jay or Jake. I do have his card. Very weird experience. It’s tough enough having to deal with leaving my dog there with strangers. But the staffs behavior is inexcusable. Hopefully my dog won’t have any bad reactions to the medication. But I don’t trust them after this atrocious experience. I’m understanding that they are working under difficult times. But I’m never going back to Banfield again.

I’ve tried 5 vets in the area and the banfield chain is by far the best, they always take the time to explain everything and leave it to your best judgement. They’re very friendly, understanding and capable of giving the best care available.

The place was clean and not a long wait. Both doctor and staff for very honest, compassionate and understanding. All concerns were addressed all questions answered. I would recommend this place to everyone.
