***UPDATE: I’m going to him during COVID-19, so that might give you some idea as to how much his treatments are helping with my pain.***
My neck, shoulders, and back have been hurting me a lot ever since I got out of the army. One of my buddies, after complaining for the past couple years about my bad posture, told me about this doctor his sister goes to, so I figured I’d give him a try just to see what he had to say. Turns out I had developed kyphosis (hunchback) and was starting to develop lordosis (curving inward of the lower back) too.
Doctor Jon gave me some adjustments, and then I was already starting to stand straighter and feel better. He showed me some exercises and stretches to do at home (remembering to do them is the hardest part), gave me a sample of gel to rub on for pain relief, and wanted me to come into the office at least once a week for a regular treatment plan. Thankfully, my insurance isn’t that bad so it covers chiropractic enough to keep my co-payment low.
The doctor’s office looked and smelled good, the doctor seemed fine, my treatment began immediately, and I had no trouble paying–even got a discount since I was a new patient. His appointment scheduling is one of the most flexible and forgiving I’ve seen from any doctor I’ve ever been to.
Overall, the treatments seem to be helping (last time I saw my buddy, he said I stood straighter), and I plan to keep going there for the time being. Would recommend to others with bad posture or in pain.
