Covenant Village Care Center

I am an employee of Covenant Living of Florida, but I do not work in the health care center, however, I am frequently exposed to it’s operations and patients undergoing rehab. I have yet to walk down the halls and experience anything unpleasant. A family member would be pleased to hear the discussion that go on behind the scenes. Quality care is their top priority

Covenant Village has been an incredible experience for our family . Last July we moved my husband’s dad ( 87 years old ) into his own independent living apartment at CV Plantation. He’s involved in activities , bible study, the exercise programs and many other informative programs they have to offer . He’s made friends , enjoys the dining plan or the option to take a meal back to his apartment. The Dr and health care amenities are right there on property too . So convenient. We are thankful that our dad is receiving quality care in a very comfortable environment.

Very good therapy, very poor nursing care. Nursing staff is generally not attuned to the needs of patients or willing to take the extra time to help.

Communication here is absolutely horrible! They tell you one thing and then someone different tells you the complete opposite. They play the blame game always trying to blame someone else. Mykell I believe her name is should not be in the position she is in. She’s rude! For a week straight I tried contacting her regarding important matters. I left my number to 4 different employees. I never once got a phone call. Her communication skills are horrible and I believe that’s mostly what her job is being an administrator. Absolutely would never recommend this place. All they care about is how they will get their next dollar. The care is so so. PT did absolutely nothing for my loved one. And the cnas, nurses and other employees playing in the hallway talking about their personal life’s isn’t pleasant to listen to when you’re trying to visit your loved one. This place has potential, but not with who’s running it right now.

The only. Good things here is the physical therapist they are top shelf. The food is great. The nursing staff good luck with them.
