I was shocked by what happened to me here. I had my car checked for a possible radiator leak because my check coolant light was on after I had just filled it two weeks ago. Also the car was stalling when stopped in traffic. This shop is very close to my house so I thought I would give them a try. The mechanic called and said they found a radiator leak and I needed to replace the radiator , thermostat and upper and lower hoses. He said the stalling would be addressed after that. Cost quoted was $579.00. I called my old mechanic who had moved about 30 min from me and just said I thought I had a radiator leak and asked what parts and labor would be to replace all the above listed parts. He checked and called back with $262 .00 quote. I took my car to him and when he checked it he found I had no radiator leak at all. Just a loose upper radiator hose. Also the stalling was a loose vacuum hose. Total cost was $40.00, the same amount Daddy and Son charged me to diagnose my car problem when I picked it up. Daddy and Son said they reduced their fee from $75.00 to $40.00 as a courtesy to me. However I never had those expensive problems at all. You must give a star to post but my advice is to get a 2nd opinion when prices seem to be extremely high if you have any doubt
