Gatehouse on the Green Apartments

I don’t live here but I recently applied and I just could not move forward without giving a big shout out to Kayla Gordon in the front office. She’s so amazing, the most responsive, resourceful and helpful agent. I’ve ever dealt with, seriously impressed!! Had to let the world know !

I never paid rent there, only stayed at a friends apartment for a week.
During that time I ordered something from amazon.com, when the package arrived it didn’t come to the apartment it went an office.
I went to that office and asked for my package, went there with my drivers license, credit card and receipt from amazon.
Instead of being given the opportunity to present my proof of purchase i was told only residents can pick up packages, I refused to accept this and insisted that she(some african american woman) look at my proof of purchase and give me my package, i wouldn’t leave so she called the police.
At that point there was no getting rid of me because the police are now on the way.
Police arrive and the officers tell me unfortunately these are the rules and my friends name was on the package as the delivery address, bear in mind i have a billing address separate from shipping which is reflected on my credit card, drivers license and receipt.
Ultimately i go back to the apartment and some guy shows up at the door with my box.
TLDR, that woman is an idiot.

This place is home. Grace Rodriguez the Leasing specialist is absolutely amazing. I remember the day I was still living in New York and she was closing up for the night she turned on the lights and got me approved for an apartment the very same day. She is always willing to assist and she is very understanding to the needs of the renters. Place is always nice and clean and Grace is an asset to the Gate House Community.

Truly blessed to live in a community that makes it feel like a home. Gatehouse on the Green has a caring team, the office staff, and maintenance team are very caring, helpful, and work hard at making our community great. I am thankful to live in this community.

The apartment rates are too high for what you actually get. No gate, actually I’m sorry there is one broken gate that is never locked and in 2016 I was told they were getting estimates per their protocol. Obviously they decided to keep the broken gate and have a shady no name company fix it to only break days later. Ther gym is very small and NO ONE CLEANS UP AFTER THEIR PETS. As you walk the grounds you will see this. I never had pets and suggested to the head of maintenance that the complex hire a company to pick up after animals and he laughed saying no way then they’d make maintenance responsible and he’d have to do it. When your paying $1350 for a 1 bedroom you should not have ground covered with fog fecies. After hurricane Irma it took the complex OVER A YEAR TO CLEAN UP, my backyard was covered by broken trees and debris from the storm, when landscapers came months after ther storm, all they did was cut trees and stumps but then left them on the ground without picking them up. When brought to management attention they said they are working on it – but never did. NOT WORTH THE MONEY ALL, DEFINITELY SHOP AROUND!
