In the middle moving and packing I was 7 months pregnant and high risk. I rolled out of bed in pain just to make sure someone was able to go into the apartment for a fire inspection (NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY, the owners). At this point I’m out of the apartment I am just cleaning up. I regret it and shouldn’t have cared about them getting fined. I could’ve went into labor or something (which is what the doctor was trying to prevent). I had baby stuff in the storage I planned on using with my new baby that I forgot in the storage. I tried to get them and she ignored all my calls and messages!! I have never dealt with a broker so insensitive and heartless. I tried to repaint a wall and she stated “don’t worry about it we have to repaint anyways “…. then takes 300 from my deposit. To patch up little holes from a mount $150.00 (just putty needed a $5 to $10 fix). One of her guys gave me a filter that i eneded putting in the A.C. the last few days of living there…. she said I broke the A.C. because the filter was too small and charged me!! Not only was the A.C. FINALLY working fine… I couldn’t believe she pulled such BS on an A.C. that didn’t work every other month the first year and a half I lived there!! I am NOT reckless, I am peaceful I work, go to school, take care of my son and go home. Her, the property management company, everything about living there made my pregnancy a scary night mare. Because I couldn’t work anymore I was counting on at least 70% of my deposit back, but obviously she needed it more than me. I wish I could get my baby items.
