Laspada’s Original Hoagies – Davie

I really wanted to try this place but due to covid 19 AND bad customer service, its not gonna happen. The sign on the door said order online so I tried to but kept having technical issues. So since I was in front of the sandwich shop I called the main phone number and told the “gentleman” who answered the phone that I was having problems ordering online and asked if I could place an order with him. He blatantly said NO. Made no apologies either which was pretty rude. I’m from New England and can assure you that this doesn’t happen up north. We treat EVERY customer with respect. I get it, we are in the middle of a pandemic, but how about some manners and kindness. I understand their “online ordering” rule but c’mon!!! It’s too bad because my BF said their sandwiches are pretty good. I’ll never know so I can’t rate their food, just their customer service.

I had my first Laspadas sub five years ago, and it is always delicious and made to order. Quality ingredients, quality customer service, and quality subs. They are doing great with COVID too. I’ve orders online twice online for pickup and everything was great.

Simply the best subs on earth! Pub subs sit down. From the pillow soft bread, to the boar’s head meats, to the amazing sweet peppers. Laspada’s makes the greatest sandwich you’ll ever have. My favorite is the Mama Laspada with turkey and Genoa salami. Many get “The Monster” with turkey, ham, and roast beef. There is a small seating area inside and some tables outside. If you arrive and there is a line out the door, don’t worry. The staff is experienced and fast.

I got a roast beef and my boyfriend got the buffalo chicken. The sandwich was HUGE. My favorite part is that they put meat, toppings, and then MORE MEAT. what? Love that. Never seen that before. It’s kind of pricey, but I think it’s worth every penny. The service was great as well.

One of the most excellent sandwich places I’ve been to. They’re not afraid to put meat on your sub. They put a first layer of meat, then your toppings, and then a second additional layer of meat. Don’t be surprised when you see meat flying through the air, they got some acrobatics going on when they prep your sandwich. Staff is friendly and courteous!
