The complete tour and application as well as prep for move in process has been outstanding! Kayla is one of the most wonderful humans and so professional. WE visited this community last fall and the experience was not the same as the one with Kayla. We look forward to moving in and sharing our amazing experience of the leasing and move in process next!

Horrible staff and absolutely disgusting move in. If you have any requests or issues, expect the staff to ignore them and you have to go through multiple hoops with different answers. When I first moved in, I walked into toilets that were black and moldy, there were insects infested everywhere, and a spider web outside my door. It took weeks for the insects to disappear after constant complaints. You have to stay on top of them otherwise they will forget you and their prior commitments, such as the promised deep cleanings after the insects. They also give you notifications days to weeks late with false notification dates on the paper work. I also had a broken dryer when I first moved in. I complained about the dryer for over a year before they replaced it. They will erroneously charge you fees and come up with excuses not to reverse them. The refrigerator is almost non functional due to a wall blocking you from opening the freezer. Staff told me to pull out the whole fridge instead of replacing it. A quote to get normal curtains is around 2000 which they will not do. My air condition has broken down multiple times, the plumbing is disgusting and there are days where faucets spew yellow and black water.

I’ve lived at Midtown 24 3 years and I love the lifestyle and community feel the building offers. Location is close to everything and easy to get to Miami and West Palm Beach. The ladies are very accommodating and I’m glad I renewed a contract at Midtown, I feel at home 🙂

We had a bait and switch situation and throughout our 13 month stay the manager deliberately violated the lease agreement and caused $3,800 in provable monetary damages.
The carpets in our unit were supposed to be brand new but what we got was dingy matted carpets with stains, paint splatters and worn out padding. The acrylic bathtub was dull and dirty looking. The overflow on that tub has a gap. The other tub was improperly installed and water is pooling on one side. All the metal stoppers in the sinks were broken. All the door locks were broken except the front door. When I opened a bathroom cabinet the door fell off one hinge. I wanted to leave but the moving company was already outside with all of our things and we had nowhere to go. The carpets felt like an old wet rag left out to dry. Hard, sharp to walk on and they released a white powder for months. The washing machine had mold in it and it took them 3 weeks to replace it. The first attempt to fix the situation was using floor cleaner in the washer. After that my apartment smelled like Fabuloso, sweaty feet and mold.
I work from home making professional review videos and I was very clear excessive noise would be a deal breaker. What I experienced forced me to dig into savings to pay my rent. From day one there was construction noises, 6 days a week. It sounded like I was living below a carpenter. This went on for about 6 months and I’m starting to hear it again now. The lease does not protect you from construction noises however it is supposed to protect you from nuisance barking. At month 5 on April 14, 2016 new tenant moved in and her huge dog barked daily for hours, relentless hours with little to no breaks mostly between the hours of 7am to 7pm. On weekends I would often hear the dog well past midnight. I was told the dog needed to get used to the place, then I was ignored for a while. I kept video and written logs of the situation. The barking went on for almost 3 months. By month two of this torture I would literally break down and cry. The barking in this building is a daily nuisance, I feel like I’m living in a dog kennel. Aside from these very loud noises you can also hear people urinating, having sex and speaking. I woke up one day to a mans voice saying “where should I put this?”
The doors to the units, even when locked, are easy enough to open from the inside by small children and larger dogs. I found the giant barking dog in the hallway one day, and it escaped multiple times. I addressed these safety concerns on Midtown’s Facebook page but my comment was ignored and quickly removed. After that they disabled public comments. I then emailed my concerns once again regarding safety and again I did not receive any response. The doors to the unit’s SLAM shut, these self-slamming doors are loud enough to make me jump, pop my ears and vibrate the granite countertops. I was told by the manager that the district manager has refused to resolve this building design flaw.
The elevator permits are expired, the front doors to the building some of them get caught on the brick outside, the garage has a very questionable area (looks like a chemical spill) that has been sectioned off with yellow tape since I moved here. One of the elevators got flooded 5 days before the last hurricane and it took them over 2 months to fix it.
There’s one towel rack, cheap painful shower heads, no backsplash in the kitchen and cheap chalky paint. The kitchen has very poor dangerous lighting and the bedrooms don’t even have lights or ceiling fans. The elevators often smell horrible from dirty pets and I’ve even seen feces, blood and urine.

My motorcycle was stolen out of this place even that i know this could have happened anywhere you would expect from this place to have better cameras, currently the cameras they have are actually old and won’t even get the license plate, i did not even get a sorry letter from the management. If you have a motorcycle or are planning in getting one this place is not for you probably it won’t last long.
