Penske Truck Rental

I would vote zero if possible. Terribly unprofessional person answering the phone at the 9190 W State Rd 84, Davie, FL 33324 location. I only needed a truck for a day to relocate a local storage room. When one calls their number via their own prompts, it guides you through “quotes” and clearly offers criteria of “If you’ll be returning truck to same location where rented, press 1,” but when this incompetent, belligerent person answered the phone, he insisted that this location only rents for one way trips. I had said that this is misleading and he insisted it’s not misleading and it’s clearly listed right on their page and didn’t allow me to even finish and hung up.

It isn’t clear whatsoever. The Google search results number simply takes one to the location number where one hears their recorded prompts. It does not provide any other details. This detestable person is obviously unaware of that and would rather quarrel and hang up phones on prospecting customers. Nevertheless, they do offer trucks for local moves, which would have fit my need. When I called back, the line kept just hanging up. They’re like juvenile children there.

I’m extremely frustrated with Penske that they would hire and harbor such woefully unruly, repugnant people. They deserve no one’s business. Only fools would tolerate such pathetic antics. I will be sending correspondence to their corporate offices with proof of my calls. If they record their calls for quality control, they’ll find their fly in the ointment.

Always a good experience with them. Wouldn’t use anyone else. Uhaul broke down with a buddy and I and it was a nightmare. I have used Penske ever since.
