BUYER BEWARE THEY DO NOT HONOR RETURNS FOR SELECT ITEMS AND IF THEY DO ITS ONLY FOR STORE CREDIT! I recently underwent surgery, so I went in today to return a stool softener because it was giving me diarrhea and a rectal cream because it was giving me a LOT of pain. According to the store manager this was an intended “side effect…”Are you freaking kidding me?! This guy was clearly talking out of his you know what because my doctor would strongly disagree with him. Even the customer who might’ve been his friend in the store was trying to justify this bs. It was clear they were trying to justify avoiding giving me a refund, and when he realized what he was saying was ludicrous he then proceeded to show me the sign where it said “refunds and exchanges only within 7 days with receipt, SOME ITEMS NOT RETURNABLE.” I mean come on… get with the times, how are you going to stay in business if I can simply go to any pharmacy across the street for a full refund. Apparently this establishment is a “mom and pop shop” that can’t afford to give returns to their customers, even if it gives them these terrible “side effects.” And the medicine in question was not cheap! Only come here if you absolutely have to, otherwise go to CVS or Walgreens or even Target, they will gladly return any items for a full refund no questions asked. I know one thing for sure, I will never step foot back into this store again. Buyer beware stay far far away from this “mom and pop shop.”

Edit: This was over the counter medicine at the Davie location at the tower shops. The person in question was a guy behind the pharmacy counter with a goatee I didn’t get his name.

I’m a pharmacist and this is the pharmacy I use. They really know how to take care of their patients and have a full array of durable medical equipment should you need it. They can also make compounds, something not every pharmacy will do. I’ve referred several family members here and they repeatedly drive past several chain pharmacies to see Tom and his staff.

What I mean by poor customer service I came here Monday looking for turmeric pills. I asked where were they located and the guy behind the counter showed me.I was reading and trying to decide which one the doctor said was good for knee pain. But as I’m reading I observed the pharmacist telling him to watch me so he stood there watching me the whole time. Very uncomfortable So I said that’s ok I’ll go to Whole Foods which I did and got better service. I’ve shopped here before and the help was good but never again. TOM IS THE GREATEST. I SERIOUSLY LOVE THIS PLACE. THEY MAKE EVERYTHING SO EASY AND THEY ARE SO QUICK.
I DEFINITELY WOULD RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION.

This review is pretty simple: these guys stayed open late so I could come get what I needed to help my kid get better. To me that’s the foundation of great service – they went above and beyond.

I needed a nebulizer for my daughter who had a bad cough and didn’t sleep the night before. When I got to my normal pharmacy they didn’t have the nebulizer, just the medicine. They suggested a few medical supply stores but at this point it was 5 minutes before 7pm. All were closed except Pill Box, which closes at 7. Called and asked if they could stay open so when I got her medicine I could come get the equipment needed to give her the medicine. And they said of course! I got there at 7:20pm and they were waiting for me.

Super grateful for them being flexible and willing to help me out. They have my business from now on, including filling prescriptions. Thank you!
