Tires Plus

I have been going to this Tires Plus for over 10 years, but I no longer trust this establishment. My car overheated last week and the manager Ray (or Rey) quoted me at $594 for parts and labor, and it cost me $40 for them to look at my car and find out what it needed, so it would’ve been a total of $634 to have the problem fixed.

I thought that was a lot, and I told him that. He responded by saying “If you think it’s high, you should price it out with the dealer.” After calling the dealer, they quoted me a TOTAL of $350 after taxes for both parts and labor for the exact same service. I hadn’t told the dealer what I was originally quoted, so they weren’t trying to “beat” any amount – it was their natural quote for parts and labor. That’s almost a $300 difference.

When I called this Tires Plus back, Ray, the manager picked up, and I told him what the dealer was quoting me. He offered to beat their price. So my thought was – if he could afford to beat their price, then why would he have upcharged me almost $300? I’m going with the dealer to fix my issue.

I felt totally taken advantage of, and I know that I can’t trust this establishment any more.

Terrible customer service…

It doesn’t matter if you tell them what is broken, they return the same problem with the vehicle. Today this front guy told me come back tomorrow to fix a windscreen wiper blade. This vehicle belongs to a company and always is the same inconvenience here.

Best prices. They give good discounts.

Both times when I needed​ tire service, never felt pressured for an upsell. Their honest advice about choices saved me money over what I had expected to spend. Friendly atmosphere from start to finish.
