Wise Eyes Optical & Vision Center

I just got my 2nd pair of glasses from Wise Eyes today. It was easy to make my appointment and the store has a large selection of frames to choose from. He offered me a fair discount as I don’t have vision coverage, and even better, he made my glasses in 10 minutes while I waited so I didn’t have to go back and pick them up. I would definitely recommend Wise Eyes.

I go back 20 years with Dr Wiesenthal. He once was closed and I needed an emergency progressive eyeglass before his return and I used someone else that was recommended OMG I had to go back 5 times as the prescription gave me vertigo and the frames kept breaking. Finally they just refunded the money. Dr Wiesenthal is not only precise at what he does but he is a very good hearted nice person. During this Health Crisis I am on leave of absence from my job. An old prescription pair fell on the floor and my frame broke. I was extremely anxious at seeing an eye doctor for a new prescription as well as new glasses I had no backup. I suffer from chronic severe anxiety. I called Dr Wiesenthal. He didn’t shun me off because of my anxiety. He explained how he is operating under these trying times and only seeing one person with the doors locked etc. I needed glasses I can’t live on my only pair that was now glued together ! He could tell I think during the whole process I was very uneasy but such a caring professional he never made fun of me or was condescending he kept reassuring me that his hands were sanitized all the equipment is sanitized , we both had masks. Any frames a patient touches don’t go back in his case until they are sanitized. At one point he put some eye drops in to test for glaucoma I believe and he handed me a tissue from his hand to mine and I got anxious but again he offered assurance that my hands used hand sanitizer and he did as well before handing me a tissue and calmed me down. He has a wonderful wife who is the office manager and optician and I know he doesn’t want to afflict her at home so he is also taking utmost precautions for himself and her (doctor you should wear goggles during the slit test. I want you to be safe too ) Bottom line he did another precise Eye exam and we picked out a beautiful frame and I know that no one else will ever be taking care of my eyes even during a pandemic but him. There’s a reason he has been in that same location for over 30 years !!

I wrote this not only to praise the doctor who I know for 20 years but also I know many of you may be afraid during this health crisis to go through an eye exam or even to a doctor of any kind. Don’t put it off. Dr Wiesenthal is not just some big chain operation. He is the ultimate professional and he will assure you he is taking every precaution to keep you safe , him and his wife safe and your eyes healthy. If you need eye care CALL HIM !

I thought I was out of luck for YEARS getting my prescription right, found Wise Eyes through my insurance and I’ll never go anywhere else! Staff is sweet and Dr Wiesenthal takes the time to make sure I have the best glasses possible before I leave. I won’t go anywhere else, love you guys!

Great customer service. The Dr was patient with my questions and explained what he was doing during the eye exam. Very friendly and helpful staff too. They helped me select the best frame for my face and style. I recieved my glasses and contacts the next day!

Love this place! They have a great selection of frames, the ladies at the front desk are friendly and very helpful and informative and the doctor is superb. They even helped me pick out my glasses which look great! Dr. Wiesenthal is a great doctor and took his time to exam my eyes and explained everything along the way. My past experiences at other places always felt rushed and impersonal. Looks like I found a new Eye Doctor for the whole family!
