Courtyard by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Plantation

Clean and secure with a good variety of services, and a good location for west Broward. Facilities are well maintained.

The rooms are clean, the help is friendly. The courtyard is a really nice place to hang out. There are two shopping malls within walking distance. The check-in was totally disorganized & very time consuming. The hall carpet was very dirty. The toilet seat didn’t fit; what’s with that?

The hotel is nice but the shuttle service is extremely unreliable and for this reason I wouldn’t recommend using the hotel if you’re in Florida for business as the shuttle made us late to a business dinner. We were originally told 20 minutes tops which turned into them adding 10 minutes to the wait time each time we talked to someone. We are now at over an hour wait…. apparently the shuttle is only supposed to travel to the airport or within a few miles of the hotel….not quite what I would call exemplary service

First of all with first impressions, Paul at the front desk has the excellent service and efficiency you know are honed from years doing this work and it shows! was a great first impression. Public spaces are nice and the large window in room lets in a lot of light which is good because the rooms are a little dim. I had to move to this room when another property I was staying at couldn’t accommodate my need for a feather free room due to my asthma, so I called a few minutes after I booked her and they had it turned down over in under an hour. Comfortable room, only here for the night but i’ll be back to this one.

I cannot believe courtyard can be like this. I see it’s has become a trend to make the front office and bistro matching to Marriott theme. But room is awful. To supplement the same there are no supplies like body lotion, creme etc. Soap and shampoo things are refills .. where every guest including me might have put there hands on in different situations .. the was one front office lady who is good and courteous .. rest are not very friendly
