Really dark at nigh complex feels unsafe
Contacted the office several times and not even an email back for response
Also buildings are unmaitained

I have been living in THE WAVES since April 2018. If you contact them over phone or reach out through mail you would not get a reply. You must have the time to physically drop by every time you have a concern.

They took four days to help me solve rats issue completely, after that I am grateful there was no such issues.

I have been trying to reach out to them over phone and mail for more than a week, since I am out of country. But yeah, no reaction. I have no idea in which state my house is. Like others, hope this review, helps me to get their attention.

Ladies stay clear of this complex, the location may be good but it does not amount to the unneeded stress you will receive while living here. First their was rats in the upstairs vents they continue to be wild and escape when traps are laid… the communication with the office is almost unheard of 20 phone calls go without reply or answer even with voice mail ..

WHAT A REGRET!!!!

I lived in this apartment for more than a year.

Pros:

It is very safe to live here since fire department is in front of the department. So car theft and crime is less compared to near by apartments in Plantation.

Cons:

Very bad management. If you work five days a week from 8:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M you cannot reach them by phone. Very Very Poor in responding to phone calls from current and future tenants.You have to visit them in person for even simple things why service request was closed without fixing the problem. I tried calling them from the leasing office to see whether they are picking the phone and they are simply sitting and ignoring the phone calls.

I have given proper notice for moving out and I asked for an appointment for the move out inspection and Celeste Polo(leasing Agent) advised there are no appointments to the move out inspection and it has to be done after vacating. When my moving truck picked everything I went to leasing office and surrendered the key and they mentioned why you didn’t booked appointment for move out inspection and I have to wait 6 hours for the inspection and my moving truck charged me for waiting hours since they already reached my new place in Central Florida.

Very poor apartment and I would not recommend anyone here.

I have to update this review. Now we have been living at the Waves for 3 years now and the honeymoon period is over it is just a convenience. To begin with the office staff NEVER answers the phone. If there is a maintenance problem you have to go to the main office. The new manager seems to be trying to improve the property. Still the unsightly unsightly trash cans are left at front of the doors 99% of the time; even though it is a violation as per the leasing contracts. Management does nothing to remove them from the front doors. Trash sits from Friday thru Sunday There is no trash pick up from Friday through Sunday. We come have neighbors trash at the entrance.
The apartments are advertised at one price & changed to another when you come & ask for the same price ; somehow that apartment is ” no longer available” Bait & switch!!!. The landscape was recently done and it looks very nice. The maintenance staff is efficient and nice. The apartment floor plans are nice. We love the area and the neighborhood. I wish they would get rid of the trash cans. These are unsightly. Also; some of the people moving in are not the best neighbors! The pools do not have lighting as the pictures posted in their website and are always crowded, it is impossible to even use the pools!
