Sorry for the long review , I was coming with my mom to this place office in Plantation for treatment after having surgeries on her legs , she has Humana Medicare , which approved 12 visits for treatment at back in action they told me that the approval was for only 8 visits I didn’t have knowledge of the 12 visits approval, after the 8 visits we continue as a self pay patient but at her first appointment as self pay the treatment last only 30 minutes, I let them know I wasn’t happy about the duration of her section , they took my mom back to complete her section of 45 minutes to an hour but with certain bad attitude. Days after of coming for treatment as self pay ,I came back with a new approval for more treatment good from August up to November with new 12 days Of services . They refused to use the new authorization until the old one expired the options was to continue coming as self pay paying 50 dollars which is their fee for private patients until the expiration of the old authorization, they explained that the insurance wasn’t paying enough for services. As a persone who used to work with insurances I knew that something wasn’t right so i contacted my mom insurance and found out that the first authorization was for 12 days of service no for 8 as they told me and that the new authorization was good to use as well for 12 more days without to wait until September . Let me explain something when a doctor or practice accepts your insurance they have signed contracts with the insurance as providers so they are obligated to provides services with the insurance fees and by law they aren’t supposed to take away your rights. Which in this back in action DID, Yes they were willing to accept my new authorization but no until the end of September and to make it worse they only was giving me 5 days of services because the insurance will be paying less than what I was paying as private patient .

I was looking for honesty, bring me mom to a place where she can recover. And all this time she only saw the physical therapist once at the evaluation and the treatment was given by his assistant.
End of all of this I called them back and canceled all my mom appointment and let them know I was very disappointed of the way the handle the insurance situation and the were no providing health services they only LOOKING FOR the money .
IF YOU HAVE INSURANCE MAKE SURE YOU KNOW YOUR RIGHTS, SO SAYING ALL THIS I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE .

The previous therapist I was seeing wasn’t working for me. I had no personal attention, they wouldn’t listen when I told them what hurt, and even exacerbated the problem. I left in worst condition.

At Back In Action, it took all but a minute for Jeff to properly diagnose and get me on the right track on my first visit. Each visit I get the personal attention I need and they make sure I’m doing everything right. After two years and however many therapist I saw, Back In Action has got me, literally, back in action!

I have been using them for years. Jeff, Richard, Anna and Debbie are like family. They are very knowledgeable and professional in their care. Very detailed oriented, and extremely kind. I have always received excellent therapy and I would recommend them to anyone who needs a good therapist.
