DelVecchio’s Pizza Loft Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant

According to the inspection report, rodent droppings were found “in (the) pizza station.”

A stop sale was also ordered on chicken because it was being held at “potentially hazardous” temperatures.

There was also mold found on the soda dispensing nozzles.

GRIO Express, meanwhile, was ordered shut for the third time.

The inspector found 250 plus rodent droppings throughout the kitchen.

An inspector was also back out at El Habitat in Miami to re-inspect the business and found its original roach issues still existed.

All the places mentioned were allowed to re-open following an ordered cleanup and re-inspection.

Moved back to SE Florida 2 years ago, after living in AZ for 11 years. After months of trial & error searching for a quality Italian style eatery, found DelVecchio’s at the Tower Shoppes in Davie. Their menu covers the gamut of New York style Italian chow, and for our taste – the very best pizzas in Broward county. Not least, their “garlic knots” are real close to the old “Marcella’s” in North Miami where I spent my youth. Yum! Perfectly baked and slathered with “real” garlic bits. Their red sauce – of course, the most important factor in any Italian place – is perfect for our taste: just thick enough, with a spark of spice to make it interesting. Meatballs are tasty and HUGE. When we all get back to normal life again (!!!) DelVecchio’s has a nice, unpretentious, old school dining area, booths & tables. Meanwhile, it’s a blessing that they’re only 5 minute drive from our place, cause I’d drive 30 minutes if had to! (They do have delivery)

What an amazing experience… for the last 4 yrs Delveccio’s has catered an event for me with over 200 guest. Anna the manager is amazing, couldn’t have done without her. The staff that delivered the food, was on time, respectful and very helpful. They set everything up for me. For the food, 5 stars for sure. My guest can’t stop talking about the food. Highly recommended. Will continue to use. Thank you again.

This restaurant is my number one site. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to this restaurant. Whenever I want to go to a delicious supper, this restaurant comes first to my head. outstanding and all sorts of food and a rich cuisine.professional staff, and good ambience. Also important, the bill is reasonable. I suggest this place with great pleasure.

Located in a major strip mall with lots of other restaurants.They have lunch specials including 2 slices and a soda for $4.99.

The pizza is NY style, thin and crispy crust.
