Instead of taking the time necessary to properly explain a diagnosis, treatment options, and risks associated with treatments.. he rushes through every patient (he is working between his own private practice and the involuntary psych clinic at Aventura Hospital). He is quick to prescribe outdated medications without providing you alternatives. He fails to explain the risk of side effects, nor the dangers of stopping a medication. He doesn’t explain the disorder he is diagnosing you with at all.. And if you do have questions in the middle of treatment, he won’t return your call. Stay away from this guy.. After speaking with other patients of his, it is clear that he will be receiving multiple official complaints with the State this year.
The only doctor that has ever listened and cared ive been a patient of his for over 5 years and theres no other dr i can talk to. But the staff at the aventura hospital are extremely rude and inconsiderate especially on the phone
