These reviews are accurate. From my experience lacked empathy, deeply disturbing practice – for anyone wondering, do not bring your children to this doctor for medications nor yourself. Definitely spends less than five minutes and makes dangerous assumptions. He was working at University Pavilion in the adolescent unit when I was a child and put me on a variety of medications that did not need to be given to me. My family was furious when I came out of literally shaking and nodding out. It was all uncalled for and in no way needed in my particular situation. I will not forget that experience but I do forgive. I hope this man seriously considers the impact he is making on people’s lives with his practice.

Not too sure why he has so many negative reviews. I saw him once when he was filling in for my usual psychiatrist and he was perfectly fine. He spent as much time with me as I needed and gave me an excellent explanation for why the medication causes side effects and how to counteract them. He was friendly and efficient. Don’t believe all the negative reviews because they are not always true.

Disturbing visit, lacks empathy, didn’t recognize the severity of my child’s condition, ushered me out after I asked for medical form for my employer stating that I needed time off to take care of patient, as per hospital discharge orders, got mad rude and flat out said if child can’t be left alone then should be hospitalized, very unpleasant, unprofessional, inconsiderate, then ushered me out and with finger pointed and rude tone ordered me to return to work and my child to just go back to school immediately, dismissing her mental condition which includes severe depression, anxiety which prevents her from normal fuctioning, hence just was in hospital and will need care plan in place before returning to school..not only ushered me out but made my child almost have an anxiety attack and my self too…total dismissal of patients struggles, diagnosis, symptoms and needs, said medicine really not going to make a difference and inferred just go on fuctioning as normal, Hell of that was so easily achievable I wouldn’t have been seeking the help from a real Psychiatrist in the first place…just totally disregard for patients feelings and state of mind and serious chronic condition which prevents from regular functioning, I’m reporting this incompetent person to the board and my insurance company, who knows what misconstrued the visit notes can be..left my daughter feeling worse, shaking almost causing her a nervous breakdown…where the hell this so called Dr. Get a license to practice, so demeaning, hurtful and caused us distress beyond imaginable…This will be taken to the Florida Physician licensing board, incompetent rude devil

My experience was bad enough for me to take the time to rate Dr. Sobhan~My visit with Dr. Sobhan checking in the front door waiting to hours in the lobby with about 30 other people and checking out the back door~ Dr. Sobhan spent less than 5 minutes with me while making assumptions when knowing nothing about me as a patient cause he only spent less than 5 minutes with never asked any vital questions to be able to give a professional Psychiatric evaluation ~ He was also very rude and careless~ Dr. Sobhan is billing my insurance $350.00 for less than 5 minutes of his time~ I am disputing this so called Dr.to receive any payment from my insurance~ For anybody looking a professional good doctor look elswhere~
