Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale/Plantation

I’ve been here three times and have enjoyed my stay all three times. Spring for the larger rooms if you can although, none of them are necessarily small. Due to CV-19, their normal breakfast isn’t available and neither is the gym or pool, but everything else is on point. Housekeeping is a light issue, but it’s CV-19 related so their normal routines had to change to keep people safe. For the price, this place is good. Parking is free, close to several local or national restaurants, the courthouse, a bus terminal, a library, several banks and even a hopsital plus a mall. You’re not far from anything. It’s close to 595 via Pine Island Road as well.

I want to thank Raymond Seah for taking the time to help us with reservations for our visiting team members. He was extremely friendly, knowledgable, and took pride in making sure we were satisfied. I would highly recommend this Hyatt Place and make sure you ask for Raymond…you’ll be in good hands!

Great place to sleep. The rooms feel more comfortable because it’s setup more like a home.

This Hyatt Place in Plantation is a wonderful hotel. Very clean, nice and quiet location, bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was better than those of most comparable hotels. I would definitely stay here again if in the greater Fort Lauderdale area. I only wish they had a jacuzzi whirlpool in the pool area.

Lovely hotel. Check in was smooth, finding it was easy and parking was no issue. Our room was huge, right by the elevator but was quiet. We didn’t like the bathroom layout the door really should be a pocket it is very difficult to use the toilet and shower due to it swinging in. Breakfast was ok. The food selection was bland, potatoes under cooked and the floor sticky. I hate sticky floors in food areas. Also the plates were ceramic and cutlery was real but it was hard to pull them off the upper shelves. Staff was great. let us print our cruise tags, staple them and gave me a bunch of tape I needed for last minute gift wrapping. Will stay again when we take another cruise.
