IHOP

Both my girl and I went to a Ihop in Tamarac and after being left for about a hour and a half. However, We decided to leave and we came here. The moment we entered this Restaurant immediately we received a outstanding service from a waitress by the name of Neet. She Provides excellent hospitality and made sure we are happy and comfortable.

Food was really good but the pickup waiting time was REALLY annoying! Ordered four omelets, just omelets, and after 40+ minutes of waiting I finally got them plus 3 stacks of pancakes on top of EACH omelet. I’m almost always very grateful for extra food, and the pancakes were delicious, but the lady who took my order NEVER at any point notified me that I was getting pancakes along with those omelets and that I would also be CHARGED extra for them. Even though I didn’t order them in the first place.

By far the absolute WORST ihop i’ve ever encountered. My family and i have tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt for an incredible amount of time (about 7-8 years) and this place has never failed to disappoint us. From dining in and being treated like we were bothersome for asking not to be seated next to the bathroom (on multiple occasions), to having our orders forgotten on a different occasion, to my most recent experience where i got stale bread with literal mold on it with my order (pictures below). When i called, i was told that it was “probably guacamole from my other order (that wasn’t even in the same container might i add). I told them no, this bread is also hard as a rock and i know what mold looks like. Per usual, i gave them the benefit of the doubt to call me back like they said they would, to discuss the situation since they were understandably busy. It’s been almost 3 weeks, and i’ve yet to hear anything back from them. Those are only 3 examples of the variety of instances we’ve experienced with this place. We live relatively close to this ihop but we GLADLY drive the extra 3 miles to the ihop off Commercial and University since they’ve always treated us kindly.

If I could rate this zero stars I would I totally forgot to leave a review when I got my food from here. For starters I should’ve known better when I walk in and smelled like the sewer water the service was fast but I was very dissatisfied with my food I ordered the chicken and waffles to go when I got to work and was eating my food I noticed something on my waffle which was a bug cooked into my waffle I literally threw up. I contacted the manger which didn’t seem to really care that I almost ate a bug. I asked for a refund which I never got. I love Ihop but this store put a bad taste in mouth I haven’t ate from ihop since this took place.
