Paragon Theaters – Ridge

My go to movie theater. The $6 Tuesday special cannot be beat. Reclining seats, cold beer available, and all at affordable prices. They don’t have the huge screens or super loud system but still, very good experience for cheap on Tuesday

Came here today for a 2:25 p.m.( arrived about 2:10 p.m.) movie. So I walk in and an associate is helping people with purchasing tickets but no one is at the booth to check your tickets/scan and direct you to specific theater. They may have the employee at the counter doing both which is UNSAT. It’s the weekend, I wouldn’t mind waiting but I waited at podium set up to scan tix/ direct patrons, no one around.I just walked through and someone in front of me in theater said no one checked their tickets either. The girls at the refreshment counter were real nice and I like the recliner situation, and they have a little restaurant inside so the reason I gave 2 stars. The movie theater was extremely dark as screen wasn’t on until the movie started, there was audio playing but no light/illumination from screen and lights in theater were not on with exception of floor walkway lighting( these are generally not very bright). Patrons were using their phones to see the path in front of them and effectively locate their reserved seating. This seems to be liability for older people coming down the stairs to make it to their seats. There was also paper stuck to the bottom of the cup holder in theater 8 row D so I’m trying to determine how effective the cleaning is. You could visually see it’s been there for awhile, there was also remnants if popcorn in the corners of the recliners in front of me.Some of the floors/ chairs are more updated in certain theaters with the bldg. more than others here. I used to come here a lot but prob not anymore until management gets things together.

Edit: When I left around 4:20 p.m. there was 3 employees standing by the podium. My review is left here for management to assess any changes needing to be made, so whomever responds to these don’t ask me to contact the general manager, the information in my review is for you to do that. Thanks.

I love this theater. Reclining reserved seating. They serve alcohol. There’s a pizza place co-located and you can take your pizza into the theater. The employees are always extremely friendly and professional. All movies in all screens are only $6 every Tuesday. They also have a Rewards program where you can earn free concessions and movie tickets.
