I’ve been a patient of Dr Bass for about the past 3 years as my gyno of abut 35 had retired. It’s that feeling of reluctancy when searching out a new doctor. Once meeting Dr Bass, I never looked back. He is kind, caring and informative. During my annual visits, while examining me, he would always inquire if I had any pain and I thinking it was a strange question, my answer was always “no”. Fast forward to December 2018 and I was experiencing some back pain. Thinking it was my spinal surgery from December 2017, I thought I would be living with this pain. After speaking with a friend, who is also my NP, she suggested I give Dr Bass a call and schedule a pelvic ultrasound. I am so glad I did. He reminded me that I had a huge fibroid and that is why he questioned me every visit about “pain”. We discussed options and the reality was it needed to be removed so we scheduled a complete hysterectomy for April 2019. Dr Bass explained to me what to expect and what the process entails. He was spot on for every step of the way. It’s now 2 months and while I still feel tender, I no longer have that lingering back pain and my life is getting back to normal. While his waiting room is often times a long wait, Dr Bass is 5 stars in my book and I am grateful to have found him.
