Sage Dental of Plantation

I DO NOT RECCOMEND GOING HERE!. Dr. Darojat was great and this review is not about her or her quality of care. I came today for a consultation and repeat of xrays as a second opinion. I scheduled the appointment after speaking with a receptionist about the fact that I have very limited time ( I work full time and go to school full time) and my only true day off is sundays which no one is open on. So I took off work and had the appointment set for today. I have been to a dentist before and I know I have 3 fillings/caps that are old (from the 90s) and are cracked, therefore they need to be taken off/replaced with new crowns. The previous dentist had also mentioned I might need a root canal but that she couldnt see past the silver cap. She said that the dentist would do an exam and if she could remove or repair the cap/filling she would but if it is too extensive she would send me to the oral surgeon. The receptionist said that they have one that comes into their office but only on certain days. I again expressed my concern over my limited schedule so she recommended today that way if there was a chance I could possibly be seen today by the surgeon.

I am unable to post my full review, but it is on the offices social media sites. Long story short they tried to charge me for costs of treatment without insurance even though I put my insurance info on the forms ($11,000). And then once they finally got my insurance info up they told me they cant do it today that I’d have to come back. After leaving I was emailed a 3rd treatment plan that had once again different charges with no explanation. A longer and more in depth review is on FB.

I NEVER EXPERIENCED A WELL MANNER DENTAL OFFICE I WAS NERVES BECAUSE I NEVER HAD TEETH PULL &’ THEY PULLED ALL 4 WISDOMS OUT I’M PAIN FREE!!! AND THEY MADE SURE I WAS COMFORTABLE I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND 2 OTHERS TO VISIT -T.FREEMAN-

My first time at this dentist. I got in right away at my appointment time. I had dr Haller. He was so funny and personable. The office staff was friendly and made sure everything was cleared with insurance. I just randomly scheduled it here bc it’s next to my gym and I’m so glad I did!

I had a good experience through this dentist on my first visit. I booked my next appointment about a month in advance and then the office calls me to reschedule 2 days before my appointment. They were not able to honor the original time that was agreed upon a month prior. This is right before I leave for an international destination wedding. I am switching to a new dentist.

Great place to visit! Never waited longer than 5 minutes when I have made an appointment and my cleanings are very quick and professionally done. In and out in under 30min. And they do it all with a smile. Couldn’t ask for much more when it comes to your dentist!
