Excellent place to have party and staff was fantastic. We are going to enroll our child in academy.

Coach Mel is absolutely the very best! In addition to being a great coach, she really cares about the players (on and off the field). If you are interested in your child becoming better at technical skills, dribbling, shooting etc., do them a favor and bring them to coach Mel! My daughter has been coming to shooting stars for approx 4 years and her overall game has tremendously improved because of Mel! As long as my daughter continues to play soccer, we will be coming to coach Mel!

This place is absolutely amazing! No longer do we have to see how the weather is outside before planning on going to soccer or not. The only downside is that the storefront that takes up Bay 5 right next door parks a giant truck with a sharp sharp liftgate jutting into the middle of the sidewalk right next door. So, just make sure your little ones don’t accidentally take out their eye or cut their face to shreds as you walk past the business in Bay 5. The owners of Shooting Stars Indoor Soccer as well as me have repeatedly pleaded with the owners of the business in Bay 5 to no avail.

I’m a parent of a 4 year old girl and was looking for a team sport to introduce her to. I called Shooting Stars Soccer in Davie to get some information about classes for her age group. The employee on the phone had no knowledge of classes, times, pricing, or any further information. It wasn’t until a day and a half later that someone finally called me back to give me some information. Finally given the information, I brought my daughter to a trial class on Sunday, June 23rd, 2019. Upon arriving, the employee at the front desk (who was on their phone the entire time) asked us for no information, names, contact info, etc. So we walked right in and joined the soccer class for ages 3-6 as a trial. Throughout the entire length of the 55-minute class, the coach never made an effort to include my daughter (who was the youngest in the class of 8 kids), nor did the coach follow any sort of curriculum or plan for the class. My daughter has never played soccer before, which was evident, and the coach never once addressed this or helped to make her feel comfortable or included in this “team sport” environment. The coach then proceeded to play along with the children (instead of coaching – his job), and kicked my daughter in the head with the soccer ball while doing so. The coach’s demeanor was completely unprofessional, and I even questioned whether he was there to play or to coach. No one in the facility (management) was there to rectify the situation or even handle the circumstances, so I took my daughter and left. I would not recommend this business for this class especially, as it was completely unorganized, and the true values of the sport were never even focused on – teamwork, following direction, learning respect for others, learning the basic skills and rules of the game, etc. It’s a shame that such a simple concept can’t even be executed correctly.
