This airline has the worst customer service. Even calls to the corporate office didn’t help. I had a legal name change, with all the supporting documents. Delta changed it for free, American. changed one for me for free.SAA $50./ticket for refund, and you rebuy the tickets at a higher rate. Never again!

Absolutely garbage, zero communication. Just fly ethiopian airways instead.

Horrible customer service. No, it’s actually non-existent. Incorrect ph# and email on the website; emails get bounced from one department to another, wasting months of your time, hoping you’ll give up.

Great Airline! Very good Fares, just wish upgrading with Voyager Miles to Business does not require a more expensive base fare. I use them very often. I am trying to take the guys in the FLL Office to eat and give them free laptops

Flyers be aware. I called customer service at SAA to pay for an online booking. I was asked for all my credit card details, which made me uncomfortable since those had already been given on their website. Quickly after this call fraudulent purchases began appearing. I called to report this to SAA and talk to a supervisor, mainly as a courtesy, and was told that was not enough of a priority to them. I told the agent I was just wanting to inform them of possible compromised credit card system..still not a big issue to them. Luckily I saw the charges while they were pending and was able to cancel the card. No help from SAA so booked on British Airways.
