So we all know public schools have insurance… my story is, my daughter plays on the Basketball team, spent hundreds of $$$ on her gears, which BTW was STOLEN at the school, she turned her back for a quick minute after practice and yes the GREAT students that attend took what was not theirs… The school is equipped with cameras and CLAIM they reviewed, which I know they DIDN’T, and to date has no answers for me!!! I have names for these kind of people no matter the age but will refrain from publicly calling their type out. I already put in a reassignment to move her out of this GHETTO with teachers that DO NOT CARE TO TEACH or FACULTY that is there only for their salary. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL!!!!!!!

I HIGHLY recommend not sending your child to this school. The principal is never there. She barely does her job, we barely see her, never can ask her for help on anything! The teachers at this school are very cruel and will set you up for failure, especially the senior teachers they don’t care if you graduate or not. The staff members are so RUDE for no reason! I was a former student here and I really wish I went to a different school. I really regret coming to this school. And if you still attend this school I suggest you transfer before your senior year. The teachers honestly can’t teach and they don’t help students at all. This school really needs help!

As a parent of 3 former SPHS students, I feel secure and appreciated every time I had to visit alone or with other family members.

The teachers and faculty overall are terrible. Many of the teachers don’t teach and you just sit there for 90 minutes doing literally nothing, so it’s more like what’s the point of even coming to school? The teachers don’t care and faculty in the guidance office can be rude even when your nice to them and you just have to stand there and take whatever they say because you’re a student, so anything you say back they can just write you up for defending yourself, for none of them ever knew the word RESPECT. Their “mission statement” is to maintain a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment, yet just last year there were 31 fights in one school year and this year many more. Nurturing definitely is not this school, for it is a high school and there is nothing nurturing about it. The school gives priority to Magnet kids, but if you’re not in Magnet then you’re pretty much screwed. I strongly recommend on not enrolling here. Oh I almost forgot to mention that kids pretty much have sex in the bathrooms and they don’t do anything about it. Have a nice life knowing that your butt has most likely touched some weirdo’s cum from a toilet seat.

You see, if you went to administration because a fight or an incident. They will not defend you, here’s is an example: billy was caught fighting Kenny. The administrators like billy, but they don’t know at all Kenny, they will go completely against Kenny and try to make him look like he was fighting for a reason and they will attempt to suspend Kenny. And billy would have a less punishment of is or no suspension it’s all about knowing everyone at south not innocents.
