It’s a good place to go sit down, have a few drinks and talk. Staff is friendly, prices are pretty good.

I was made to feel right at home I’m a Brooklyn girl and it felt like I was in Brooklyn which is a great thing especially while visiting childhood friends from Brooklyn in Florida while on vacation I highly recommend this place it’s non-touristy which I like

I second Naydia’s review. The New J Bar is a hidden Gem. I notice that every bartender makes new patrons feel welcome and they make it a point to introduce themselves. The other patrons are very friendly and I agree…it has a Cheers (1980s sitcom) type atmosphere. The owner runs a great operation. Huge bonus for me … they have Touch Tunes so you can play your favorite songs from the Touch Tunes app. Almost forgot….the food is fantastic.

Awesome staff drinks are cheapest in town plus points. Great neighborhood bar.
