UrgentMed | Urgent Care Plantation FL

I want to share my experience. Showed up one day with my wife checked in, spent about 30 checking my insurance card… we specifically asked if they took our insurance. They say yes, we paid our $10 urgent Med co-payment and my wife was seen. Unfortunately the doctor or PA had no clue what he was doing and prescribed incorrect medication. We had to go back 2 more times and 2 more times the keep prescribing more medication that only aggravated my wife’s condition until finally we decided not to go back. We had to wait a few day in pain and go to a specialist. When we saw the specialist he told us that this was a very simple case that could have been resolved immediately by the right medication but because of the incompetence of the doctors at UrgentMed my wife now had to get treated for 3 weeks now.
On top of that they now send a bill in the mail saying we owe them $200 because they don’t take our insurance… we are a low income families and we were adamant about the insurance thing had they told us we would have gone to another place right away… but on top of that they only made things worse…. terrible place, dishonest, clearly out to get people at all cost… and try to get in contact with management! Good luck with that.

I came in and was seen with almost no wait at all.
The staff was extremely friendly and and accommodating.
The office was clean and comfortable.
I felt cared for and listened to.
The Dr actually called later to ask how I was feeling and that made me feel like WOW what a great experience.

Gloria at the front desk was extremely knowledgeable and courteous! Celina was great! Knowledgeable and right to the point. She explained everything in an easier way and made me feel safe.
I will use theirs services again!

Everyone here was very helpful and professional. It was a pleasure dealing with such nice people. The physician assistant (Christina) was very informative and knowledgeable. She assisted me the best way she could since I was paying cash. One of the best urgent care facilities I have visited. I recommend and will return. Gloria was awesome!

I was in and out in under 45 minutes. The staff was very friendly and communicated to me I would be seen by the doctor. This is my first time visiting an urgent Med Center just for a minor injury that I sustained. If in the future that I do need to using urgentmed I would definitely come back to this one just based off of the customer service I received alone.
