Pros: Price was good for 4 days in this part of plantation FL, but i think that has more to do with the current state of the nation (covid-19) so rates are relatively low everywhere. Centrally located in pretty much the heart of plantation, FL. Great neighborhood. The room is spacious and the bathroom is huge. There is a micro-wave and a mini fridge which is very convenient.

Cons: I checked in sometime between 6pm-7pm on 6/4/2020 and the employee on duty, was not hospitable or friendly at all, not friendly, not customer service friendly what so ever, just hurried my check in along, gave me my key and walked away…not even a enjoy your stay, nothing. I also called ahead to check and see if there were any incidental fee/holds or security deposits as i am adamantly against high priced incidental/security holds and whom ever i spoke with assured me there was none. I show up and I am charged a $75 incidentals hold and the funds are actually charged. I can understand a credit card hold but $75 incidental fee for a Laquinta is relatively high! that is a significant chunk of someones budget who’s traveling. I checked out on 6/7/2020 and the funds have not been returned to my card yet…but i made sure to get a check out receipt. Carpet while probably vacuumed, was still very dirty and could use a full steam clean and shampoo and stain/spot removal treatment..i wore socks while in the room my entire stay (I am in hospitality by career) the mini sofa in the room was disgusting and stained…If you all are not having these sofa’s professionally cleaned and upholstered regularly this presents a huge health risk. Upon check out, the employee on duty was better than the one at check in albeit still needs some hospitality/customer service training..at least I got a “please” and a “thank you”

My biggest issues was the incidental fee and the severe lack of customer service from the employee at check in. I most likely wont stay here again.

Excellent experience! I am a local resident and stayed here while transitioning and moving between apartments. The front desk staff (Kayla and Yasmine and the female evening staff that sorry I forgot your name) were all very kind, and I especially enjoyed how they recognized me, kept packages and laundry deliveries for me, were prompt and service oriented.
Housekeeping staff keep the hotel very clean, and the continental breakfast was very nice! The lobby is elegant and well decorated for the price point.
Also, I really appreciated the animal/pet policy, as I don’t know what I would have done if I couldn’t have my pets with me or had to pay a huge fee (Extended Stay America charges $25/day per pet, regardless of size). I have fancy rats, and the staff all were open-minded to meeting them despite most people writing them off.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel has a free breakfast bar which includes juices, coffee, boiled eggs and buns. The bar opens pretty early and one can have a decent meal there. The rooms are large and comfortable. I particularly liked their showers! Having stayed in several hotels I always spend some time figuring out the showers and getting doused with ice cold and steaming hot water while doing so. This one is a classic in its simplicity. There was a dial for on-off and an arrow for hot and cold. That’s it. Worked the first time!

Their elevator is kind of tucked away in a corner and small for a hotel this size. They have a free gym a laundry room. Best of all is a self-serve compute with attached printer that allowed you to print you boarding pass and other documents. Not sure if it was free but definitely a convenient facility

Comfortable large room with microwave, fridge, hot drink machine, ironing board and iron and a really good media system with built in Chromecast for streaming from even your phone! Breakfast was adequate. Disturbing at first to see the deterrents on the room door to break-ins and there had obviously been many attempts judging by the damage to the repairs to the door! Inside the room was neat and tidy and we’ll laid out. Bathroom had old-fashioned complimentary lotions and soap which we prefer and fluffy towels. Only issue was the relatively low water pressure in the sink. Shower was fine, though.
The hotel is pet friendly, which was an issue with dogs barking at night but overall our stay was very comfortable and the staff worked hard to make it so.

Our room was only $110 so it’s really great for the price. The room is very clean and organized. The bathroom looks good too and the hot water is amazing, the only thing is our bathroom door didn’t have a lock on it. You can go down to the kitchen in the early part of the morning and grab breakfast. The food is nothing fancy but it’s something to get you going in the morning. Overall the experience was amazing and I highly recommend it.
