Five stars is not enough for Michelle Lawson Photography! They are by far the BEST vendor we chose for our wedding. They exceeded all expectations! The entire team is professional, fun, and treated us like family. They are so incredibly talented at capturing all the feels and emotions in their work. Also, Steve is basically a sidekick wedding planner – he helped with the timeline, bustling my dress, and fixing my hair. It is very clear that the entire team loves what they do and having their positive energy made our wedding day even more special. My husband normally does not like having his picture taken, but Steve and his team honestly made him feel so comfortable that our photo session ended up being one of his (and my!) favorite parts of the day. If you are looking for beautiful photos and want to have fun taking them, then look no further than Michelle Lawson Photography – they really are the BEST!

Steve and Rob were awesome on our special day. We met Steve and he instantly connected with my dad where they talked for like 2 hours. When my dad and I left, he told me, “You just met your wedding photographer”. From then on, that was the easiest wedding decision we made. Before the wedding, we took engagement pictures and family pictures with them. Whenever I had a question about other vendors, I would ask Steve for his recommendations and he never led me astray. When the wedding day came around, I was confident he was the right choice. I had so many compliments about Steve and his team. They were great. They got my HUGE family pictures done in a timely manner and I can’t wait to see them all! He was patient and totally understanding! At the end of the night, I had a kind of silly request – to go to McDonald’s with us. He was totally for it and was so excited! We had a memorable experience and I do not think anyone will forget it! If I could tell you one thing to help you with your wedding it would be BOOK MICHELLE LAWSON PHOTOGRAPHY! Thank you, Steve and crew. You were all awesome!

My mom gifted me a shoot with Michelle Lawson Photography, and we had the best experience. Steve was amazing! Patient, easy to work with, and the shoot was so smooth, and my son is only 1, so that speaks volumes! The photos came out beautiful, and captured my sons personality perfectly. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Rob Wendel was our photographer and he was just absolutely amazing! Him and his assistant. The energy that Rob possesses is just outstanding and made my day even better!!! The guests loved him so much and all wanted to redo their weddings to hire him. He really just made everything better because of his energy. We had Rob as our main photographer for our wedding, so most of my review is going to be about him, but before I sing his praises, I’ll say some stuff about the company in general.

Michelle Lawson goes above and beyond to make sure that you are happy from the start. They accommodated my requests by creating a special package out of their norm and even met with myself and my mom IN PERSON. As well they were one of the ONLY companies that did not charge a “travel fee” to come to Key Largo, some companies quoted me over $1500 to drive from Fort Lauderdale to Key Largo.

Now lets get to the GREAT stuff. My wedding day was almost rained out, I was a mess but as soon as Rob arrived with his team they brought the sunshine! Literally and figuratively, the rain cleared right before they arrived and Rob was a BEAM of positivity and energy (as always).

In some cases a photography team can get in the way during a wedding but Rob and his team felt like part of the family! They laughed and danced and got the BEST party shots, along with STUNNING traditional shots.

Rob even helped bustle my dress! To me that says it all. Do yourself a favor and stop the endless search for an amazing photographer, if you’re reading this, you found him, hire the best team there is..Michelle Lawson!!
